Privacy Policy

Adrina AI LLC ("Adrina," "we," "us," or "our") helps people organize, review, search, and understand personal and family paperwork. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Adrina AI mobile apps, website, and related services.

Documents stay private

Your documents stay private unless you choose to share selected records.

Sharing is your choice

Trust Circle and document sharing require explicit action from you.

No data brokerage

We do not sell personal information or use documents for third-party advertising.

Information We Collect

Account information: We collect information used to create and manage your account, such as your name, email address, authentication provider identifiers, profile photo if you add one, language preference, workspace membership, and account settings.

Documents and user content: When you upload, scan, share, or review documents, we collect the files and related content you provide. This may include PDFs, images, extracted text, document summaries, metadata, categories, folders, action items, reminders, chat messages, support messages, and other content you create in the app.

Trust Circle and sharing information: If you invite or share with trusted people, we collect information needed to manage those relationships, such as names, email addresses, invitations, sharing permissions, and workspace roles.

Subscription and purchase information: If you subscribe, purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details. We receive subscription-related information such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase status, renewal status, expiration status, and related billing metadata needed to provide paid access.

Device, app, and service information: We may collect app version, device type, operating system, push notification tokens, diagnostic information, server logs, security events, and usage information needed to operate, protect, and improve the service.

Support and communications: If you contact us, we collect the information you provide, including your message, contact details, support category, and related diagnostic context.

Social media interactions: When you message, mention, or comment on an Adrina AI account or Page on Facebook or Instagram, Meta may send us the content of that interaction and related information through its APIs and webhooks. This can include your platform-scoped identifier, username or display name, message or comment text, attachment indicators, post or conversation identifiers, timestamps, and delivery metadata.

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, upload or scan documents, type chat messages, record voice messages, create folders, invite trusted people, choose settings, subscribe, or contact support.

We collect some information automatically when you use Adrina, such as app version, device type, operating system, push notification tokens, server logs, security events, and usage information needed to operate, protect, debug, and improve the service.

We receive limited information from service providers when needed to provide Adrina. For example, authentication providers may provide account identifiers and profile information, Apple App Store and Google Play provide subscription status information, and payment processors do not provide us with your full payment card details.

We receive Facebook and Instagram interaction data from Meta when you communicate with an Adrina AI Page or professional account and Meta delivers that interaction through an authorized API or webhook.

We also create information from your use of the service, such as extracted document text, document summaries, metadata, folder suggestions, tasks, reminders, search indexes, chat history, transcripts, and support context.

AI Processing

Adrina uses OpenAI as a third-party AI service through Adrina's backend. We use OpenAI only as needed to provide app features you request, such as document extraction, summaries, search, chat, transcription, tasks, and folder suggestions.

When Adrina's social responder is enabled, the text and limited context of a Facebook or Instagram message or comment may be sent to OpenAI to classify the interaction and draft a proposed response. Adrina can operate in an observe mode that creates drafts without sending them, and sensitive or uncertain interactions are intended for human review.

Data sent to OpenAI may include uploaded or scanned documents, document images or PDFs, extracted text, document metadata, summaries, chat messages, voice recordings, transcripts, and related context needed to return the requested result.

Before the mobile app sends personal data to OpenAI for AI processing, Adrina shows an in-app AI disclosure that identifies OpenAI, describes the data that may be sent, explains why it is sent, and asks for your agreement.

Adrina does not sell your personal information, does not use your documents for advertising, and does not opt in to allow OpenAI to use Adrina API inputs or outputs to train OpenAI models. OpenAI states that API Platform inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in.

OpenAI and other service providers that process personal data for Adrina are required to protect that information and process it only for the services they provide to us. We require service providers that receive personal data from Adrina, including OpenAI, to provide the same or equal protection for that personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

AI-generated content can be incomplete or incorrect. Adrina is an assistive organization tool and does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, immigration, government, employment, or other professional advice.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

We do not share your private documents with other users, advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Your documents are stored securely for your account and are used to provide Adrina's document organization, search, summary, chat, task, and sharing features.

Your documents are shared with another person only when you choose to share them through Adrina's Trust Circle or document-sharing features. You control those sharing choices in the app.

To operate Adrina, we use trusted service providers for hosting, database, storage, authentication, AI processing, email, push notifications, payment verification, support, security, and similar infrastructure. These providers may process information only to help us provide and protect the service. They are not allowed to use your documents for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.

OpenAI is our third-party AI service provider. We may share the data described in the AI Processing section with OpenAI only to provide the AI-powered feature you request and related reliability, safety, and abuse-prevention functions.

Meta provides the Facebook and Instagram APIs used to receive and respond to social-media interactions. Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policies when you use Facebook or Instagram.

We may disclose limited information when required by law, legal process, or valid government request, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, security, prevent abuse, or investigate fraud.

We may also transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Adrina, maintain your account, support subscriptions, resolve support requests, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Documents and user content are generally kept until you delete them, close your account, or request deletion, subject to backups and legal retention needs.

Social-media interactions and related response audit records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to manage the conversation, review responder quality and safety, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or platform obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of an interaction that Adrina controls.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure.

Children

Adrina is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

International Processing

We may process and store information in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
